Due to advances in science and technology, today they are widely used for both work and play. They heal, store, record, transfer, and copy data. In many ways, it facilitates people\’s work, helps save lives, and simplifies everyday life in many devices, such as washing machines and dishwashers. They bring to our lives the simplification of the tasks we perform on our computers and the enjoyment and entertainment of movies and music that can be played on our computers.
There are many different types of computers, some fast, some slow, some for work, and some for entertainment such as games. These computers usually have better graphics cards so that they can process great images even in dynamic games. A work computer must have the necessary software to provide adequate functionality. In addition, a basic consideration when categorizing computers is whether they are desktop or portable. A portable one can be taken to a business meeting or anywhere else, whereas a desktop computer is large, very impractical, and difficult to transport.
Computers operate on a set of ones and zeros, thereby recording everything, solving given commands, creating new programs, storing audio and visual data, etc. Computers always have a screen that shows what we are doing and a computer brain that contains memory, media drives, sound, RAM, and other components necessary for the computer to function. Every computer needs a keyboard and mouse, but not a living, computer component by that name. There is also a protective frame, plastic or metal, like an outer box that prevents mechanical damage to the components to function.
From the outside, a computer looks like such a simple box, but inside it is a complex machine. Furthermore, when connected to the Internet, they can communicate remotely via the Internet, retrieving and transferring information and data.
